It has been my dream since early childhood to raise and train
service and performance dogs with an emphasis on rescue work. At the age of 32 I
am finally taking the first tentative steps towards this goal.
As former endurance riders we did not accept a dog that could not ‘keep up’
physically and mentally. Instant obedience was a requirement and not open to
discussion. We demanded superior athletic ability and the intelligence to curb
that ability wisely. This philosophy has not altered now that we have changed
our focus from endurance horses to working dogs.
As a result our dogs are quite active and keen. Yes, some Boxers are more laid
back than others. Nevertheless, you have to understand that the Boxer is a
natural athlete and must have constructive outlets for that energy. If not, he
will create his own games at YOUR expense!
Please explore this site at your convenience. It is currently under
reconstruction so, if you like, check back every now and then to see what new
information we’ve put up. We hope this site will maybe teach you a little
something you didn’t know and opens up the door into the joys of owning the
purebred dog. We also hope that this site will encourage you to find a sport
both you and your dog can enjoy.
